This review is from: Proctor Silex K4087Y Cordless Electric Kettle, 1.7-Liter (Kitchen) I got this kettle to use at work for a great price. Its capacity is larger than the previous kettle of the same brand that we had and it boils water much faster. The styling is very 1980s sci-fi movie but not a problem for the bargain I got it for. HOWEVER ... the spout on this kettle is terribly designed, unless you are exceedingly careful pouring this kettle you will splash boiling water everywhere! This is literally a safety hazard, stay away from this kettle despite the bargain price. I really never ran across them at stores in the US back when I learned about them. This kettle works well. It gets water boiling hot quickly. It does not feel hot when you pick it up to pour. It pours well. I've been using this one for several weeks and really like it. I highly recommend it.
